The is a registered non-profit society committed to promoting the martial art of Judo, primarily, but not exclusively, to the youth of Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows.
We currently hold our classes:
Mondays and Wednesdays in the

just off 224 th Street in Maple Ridge, BC.

We accept students from 8 years to adult and welcome both recreational and competitive members.
Golden Ears Judo Club is registered with and governed by Judo B.C. and Judo Canada.
is the head coach for the Golden Ears Judo Club. A fully certified
NCCP Level 5 Judo coach (one of only two in Canada), Ron also has a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Idaho majoring in Sport Pedagogy.
Besides coaching judo at the Golden Ears Club, Ron is the former NCCP chair for Judo BC and the NCCP program for Judo Canada. A certified theory and Judo technical Master Course facilitator, Ron was the head of the steering committee with Judo Canada to update and incorporate the NCCP technical program as well as being the lead writer of the Long Term Athlete Development Model. He is also a French Immersion high school physical education teacher.
