The Golden Ears Judo Club fought against competitors from Canada, the USA and several European countries at the Canada West Open Judo Tournament in Burnaby on Saturday, December 5.

The Club was led by Josh Jensen who captured the gold medal in the intermediate men's -100 kg category. He also finished second in the Junior Men's -100 kg category.

Ian Shea fought well on his way to the bronze medal in the -66kg division of Cadet Mens category.

Maciej Ingiwelewicz fought well but finished out of the medals in the men's Black belt -73 kg category. This division featured judoka who have trained in such far-away countries as Switzerland, Germany, South Africa and Poland.
