On April 26, three members of the Golden Ears Judo Club participated in the Prince George Open Tournament.

Elysia Coppin and Natasha Lee both won their first two matches to set up an all-Golden Ears final in juvenile Girls -63 kg. Elysia emerged victorious and captured the gold medal. Natasha had moved up to this category from her normal -57kg and was giving up a lot of size to the other competitors, but still managed the bronze.

William Cheng, in the -60 kg Junior men's category finished with the silver medal.
